Tarot Meditation: The Sun

The Sun tarot card is the 19th card in the Major Arcana. In the Rider-Waite deck, a wee child rides a white horse under the sun. The child is naked (suggesting innocence) except a crown of flowers (either daisies or mini-sunflowers). Large sunflowers happily bloom in the background.
The red flag represents the blood of renewal (and vitality) and the smiling sun represents accomplishment.

For this spell, you will need:
  • The Sun Tarot Card
  • Yellow Altar Cloth
  • Sunflowers
  • Frankincense
  1. Set up the altar
  2. Light incense
  3. Meditate on the Sun Card. Themes are: attained knowledge, overcoming fears and illusions, hope, expansion, accomplishment
